Professional profile: The Master's Degree in Energy from PPGEN/UFES aims to train professionals with a solid scientific, technological, and interdisciplinary foundation in the area of energy, capable of working in teaching, research, and innovation, as well as in industrial and institutional sectors linked to the national energy matrix. Graduates will be able to:
• Develop and conduct interdisciplinary research, focusing on energy efficiency, oil, natural gas and renewable energy;
• Propose and implement innovative and sustainable solutions to challenges in the energy sector, considering regional, national and global demands;
• Exercise teaching activities at a higher level and contribute to the training of qualified human resources;
• Act critically, ethically and entrepreneurially in research centers, universities, public agencies and companies in the energy sector;
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the advancement of knowledge, development of technologies, and transfer of innovation to society.
Target audience: The Master's degree in Energy is intended for holders of an undergraduate degree, in an area specified in the Selection Notice.
