Alumni:

Based on the procedures for monitoring graduates, it was possible to identify, mainly, the field of professional activity of the graduates and to verify the contribution of the program to the training of new professionals, researchers, and teachers in the area of concentration of the program. It can be seen that the program has contributed to the interdisciplinary area of Engineering/Technology/Management with the training of teachers, who already worked in private universities and federal institutes of higher education, and with professionals from the energy sector who already worked in local and regional industries.

The distribution of graduates' activities from 2016 - 2024 reveals a diverse insertion that is consistent with the PPGEN's objectives:

• 21% of graduates work as teachers in public higher education, especially in federal universities and institutes, which reinforces the program's role in training professionals focused on public education and scientific research.

• 12% work as teachers in private higher education institutions, expanding the scope of the academic training offered.

• 25% work as professionals in private companies, evidencing a strong insertion in the productive and industrial sector, in areas related to energy, engineering, and technological innovation.

• 15% are inserted in the non-academic public sector, performing technical functions in government agencies, state-owned companies, and regulatory institutions.

• 15% are studying for a doctorate, which demonstrates the continuity of the academic trajectory of a significant portion of the graduates.

• 2% are in post-doctoral internships, already on advanced academic paths.

• 9% work in other modalities, such as entrepreneurship, independent consultancy, or professional activities abroad.
