UFES INTEGRATED LIBRARY SYSTEM (SIB)
SIB/UFES has nine units: Central Library, Technological Sector Library, Health Sciences Sector Library, CEUNES Sector Library, Agricultural Sciences Sector Library and Nedtec Sector Library, Education Sector Library, Arts Sector and Human and Natural Sciences.
SIB/UFES has 352,538 copies of which 152,490 are titles and 2,438 are periodical titles.
The CENTRAL LIBRARY, a supplementary body linked directly to the Rectory, is the unit that coordinates the technical procedures of all SIB/UFES units necessary to provide information for the Teaching, Research, Extension and Administration activities of UFES. Its collection available for consultation consists of 104,083 titles with 232,681 copies of books; 6,902 titles of dissertations and theses with 9,414 copies; 2,203 titles with 3,152 multimedia copies; and 1,768 titles with 79,016 periodical issues.
SIB/UFES is computerized with more than a hundred computers connected to the internet. We have actively participated in the CAPES PERIODICAL PORTAL, which constitutes a very valuable instrument for the development of research work, particularly in Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Courses. In addition to this direct access, UFES professors, students, researchers and employees can access the CAPES Periodicals Portal outside UFES in two ways:
I - Through the Federated Academic Community (CAFe), using the “MY SPACE” link in the top right corner of the Portal page, the person uses the UFES institutional identification, as UFES has been part of CAFe since 2011; II - Through SAR - Remote Access Service to the CAPES Journal Portal, which was created at the end of 2008 through a partnership between the Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies (PRPPG), the Data Processing Center (NPD ) and the Central Library.

UFES SECTORAL LIBRARIES
SECTORAL LIBRARY OF THE HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER
The Sector Library of the Health Sciences Center is located on the Maruípe University Campus and occupies an area of 1,200 m2. The Library is a Cooperating Center of the BIREME Network. It has 4 rooms for group study. The collection consists of approximately 9,041 titles and 30,004 copies of books, 1953 theses and 541 titles and 42,992 periodicals.
TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER SECTOR LIBRARY
The Technological Sector Library, with a physical area of 60 m², located on the Goiabeiras University Campus, has a specific collection of approximately 2,692 titles and 5,022 copies of books, and 1,625 titles and 1,804 copies of dissertations and theses and 3 microcomputers with direct access for bibliographic research on broadband Internet.
EDUCATION SECTOR LIBRARY
The Education Sector Library is located on the Goiabeiras University Campus, occupying an area of 112.18 m². It has a collection of 5,775 titles and 11,843 copies of books, 1,191 titles and 1,725 copies of dissertations and theses.
ARTS SECTOR LIBRARY
The Arts Center Sector Library is located on the Goiabeiras University Campus, occupying an area of 240m². It has a collection of 3,257 titles and 5,010 copies of books.
SECTORIAL LIBRARY OF THE CENTER FOR HUMAN AND NATURAL SCIENCES
The sectoral Library of the Center for Human and Natural Sciences is located on the Goiabeiras University Campus, occupying an area of 133.37 m². It has a collection of 1,576 titles and 1,764 copies of books, 210 titles and 237 copies of dissertations and theses.
SOUTH SECTORIAL LIBRARY
The South Sector Library is located on the Alegre University Campus, occupying an area of 1,285 m2. It has a collection of 14,930 titles and 34,355 copies of books and 837 copies and 1869 titles and 2,380 copies of dissertations and theses and 303 titles and 14,334 copies of periodicals.
CEUNES SECTORAL LIBRARY
The CEUNES Sector Library is located on the São Mateus University Campus, with a built area of 2,404.75 m². It has a collection of 27,228 copies and 8,445 book titles, 118 titles and 1,452 copies of periodicals.
NEDTEC SECTORAL LIBRARY
The NEDTEC Sector Library is located in the municipality of Jerônimo Monteiro and serves Forestry Engineering and Wood Industry courses. It has a collection of 4,923 copies and 2,173 titles.
